When I first found out that I had been nominated for Best Attorney in Northern Nevada by the Reno News & Review, I was already overwhelmed with gratitude. To be considered alongside so many amazing professionals in our community was an honor in itself. But when I learned that I actually won—I was stunned.
Growing up in Reno, I remember flipping through the “Best of Northern Nevada” issue every year. I loved seeing which people and places my community had chosen to celebrate. Never in a million years did I imagine that one day, my name would be among them.
This recognition isn’t just about me. It’s about the people who have trusted me to be a part of their lives during some of their most important, and sometimes most difficult, moments. Estate planning is more than just legal documents—it’s about families, stories, and legacies. My clients let me into their lives in deeply personal ways, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
Winning this award is a reminder of how much I love Northern Nevada and how much this community means to me. It tells me that the late nights, the hard work, and the dedication to serving families here are making a difference. And it motivates me to keep pushing forward, keep improving, and keep showing up for the people who call this place home.
