Hi guys, it’s Riley, and welcome back to the blog! I can’t believe it is already March!! This year is flying by!
Now I don’t know about you, but I have always loved March. Something about it just puts a smile on my face and some of my favorite people’s birthdays are in March as well. To me march is the start of spring season, and spring might just be my favorite season. I love being outside and when the flowers are blooming and the birds are chirping it just brings a smile to my face.
One of my favorite parts about this time of year is finally being able to walk around the park with my friends again. After months of colder weather where everyone mostly stays inside, it feels so refreshing to just get outside and enjoy the sunshine. You see families walking together, people running or biking, and so many dogs happily walking alongside their owners. Sometimes you’ll see dogs trying to chase each other or getting excited about every person they pass, which always makes the walk a little more entertaining.
There’s also something about being outside around other people that instantly lifts your mood. You can hear people laughing, talking, and just enjoying being outside again after the long winter months. It reminds you that everyone has been waiting for this weather to come back. Everyone is just so happy. Even if you’re just walking and talking with friends, it somehow feels more meaningful when you’re outside instead of sitting inside somewhere.
Another thing that makes such a big difference this time of year is the longer days. The sun starts setting later, which automatically seems to put everyone in a better mood. Instead of it getting dark early in the evening, there’s still sunlight when people are getting off work or finishing classes. That extra daylight makes it so much easier to go outside, take a walk, and spend time with friends. My favorite thing is life is sunsets so walking in the evening just makes it more perfect.
If I have learned anything it getting outside can change your mood in seconds. Walking around the park, seeing dogs running around, hearing people laugh, and watching the sunset with friends are the kinds of small things that make spring feel so special. It’s a reminder that you don’t always need big plans or expensive activities to enjoy yourself. Sometimes all it takes is a walk outside, good company, and a little sunshine to make the whole day feel better.
I hope you have a great March, see you in April.
